The mechanical and electrical services were carefully designed to achieve a slick exposed services installation with a futuristic look and feel. Clark Degnan were employed by Norstead Ltd to develop the design on behalf of the Metnor Group and were responsible for developing the client brief and the full detailed design from RIBA Stage 3 onwards.

Alongside the aesthetic goals of the project, energy efficiency played a significant part of the client brief and the services design included the use of VRF heat recovery heating and comfort cooling systems, MVHR, LED lighting and automatic daylight dimming and occupancy lighting control.
